Our Tenant Committee

Our tenant committee is a group of people who come together to tell us what they think about our services. They help us do better and make sure our tenants are happy in their homes.

The Tenant Committee meets every 12 weeks to look at how RWP is doing. It is important to listen to tenants who know what it is like to live in supported living. Bringing this lived experience helps us to improve our services.

Committee member

An RWP tenant (or advocate) who tells us what they think about our services as a landlord and who helps us make better decisions.

Good meeting behaviour

The Tenant Committee has a set of rules called a Terms of Reference. It has also agreed a list of good meeting behaviours, including how to prepare for meetings, behaviours within meetings and how to support outside of meetings.

Jargon language

Tenant committee members are encouraged to query language. To make sure everyone who attends can get the best out of meetings, we try not to use words and terms that can be hard to understand.
