If you have a disability that makes day-to-day living difficult, we will make changes to your home to help. These changes will often be called adaptations.
Changes to your home might be things like adding a wheelchair ramp or a stairlift.
An occupational therapist will need to say that you need a change to help you live in your home. An occupational therapist is a healthcare professional who helps people with their daily lives and making them better.
If an Occupational Therapist suggests that a change is needed, we may be able to make changes that you need.
Change kitchens so it meets the needs of wheelchair users
Add in a bath or shower that is level with the floor so wheelchair users can use it
Widen inside and outside doors
Add ramp access
