To live in your home you have to pay us rent.

The amount of rent depends on the type of home you live in and where you live.

Once a year, your rent is reviewed. If the rent changes, we will always let you know.

Rent also pays for things like heating, lighting and cleaning in the rooms that you share with others.

The rent doesn’t pay for your support worker, your household bills or your insurance for your belongings.

The local authority may pay us money to pay for your rent.

If you pay your own rent, your rent should be paid every Monday, or monthly, in advance.

Checking your rent balance

We will send you a rent statement by post at least once a year.
