Creative competition winners

Latest news

Congratulations to the winners of the ‘Living your best life’ creative competition.

Progress Housing Group, which RWP is part of, launched a creative competition for tenants to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The competition ran from mid-July to the end of October. The winners of the ‘Living your best life’ creative competition have been announced.

There were three categories to enter:

  • Creative work (not just art, this includes any kind of craft, baking or making things!)
  • Photography
  • Poetry

We were blown away by the creative talents of our tenants, who sent us a variety of creative work, ranging from paintings, to nature photography, to garden projects.

Our judging panel, included Progress Housing Group’s Chief Executive Jacqui De Rose, a board member, an RWP colleague and three involved tenants. All competition entries were awarded a score out of 10. Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners will receive a shopping voucher.

Poetry

Present by Michael

Somewhere an idea was formed to help disabled people live independently.

The idea became a success and many years later the idea was all over the UK. it had become that successful.

It grew and grew, many were helped through progress as a result.

Lives will continue be improved for many years to come.

The staff take anything that is thrown at them and improve that person’s life, even if at the time they cannot see it.
